In a nutshell, SeeSpend.com is an online shopping mall, showing the best and top-rated websites. And rather than show you an endless list of words, we give you a visual answer that's easy to use.

How is this better than going to my local mall?

SeeSpend.com is very flexible. If you go to your mall looking for shoes you might have 5 or 6 places to look, spread all over. With SeeSpend.com, search for shoes and the whole mall is made up of stores that sell shoes or relate to shoes. Do you want to give shoes as a gift? Easy, we'll just filter the results to only show shoe stores that offer gift cards. Buying on a budget? Well, let's look for shoe stores with sales and clearance items.

Why wouldn't I use Google or one of the other search engines?

SeeSpend.com is designed to be the place to start shopping. That means we won't overwhelm you with millions of results. Instead, we give you an organized collection of the top websites. In addition, we have shortcuts to the things you need most, like gift cards or clearance items . And like any good mall, we have the everyday services you depend on, like your bank or a florist or the the food court.

Who decides what websites are shown?

You do - and people like you. The sites you see by default are the ones rated best overall by the whole community of SeeSpend.com users. Sign up for a free account and you too can rate the sites (by clicking on a rating number 1 2 3 4 5 ), putting your favourites at the top of your mall or moving the websites you don't use to the bottom of the pile. Your preferences are then combined (anonymously, of course) with the rest of the community's ratings to everyone's benefit.

In addition to the ratings, you can keep notes (like your account name or a shipping #), add your own searchable tags (like 'Mom' or 'Husband' or 'Cool Stuff') to easily remember where to shop when a birthday or holiday approaches, and set flags to alter the way you view the site.
